Dr. Clara Wood grew up in Ft. Wright, Kentucky, and graduated from Notre Dame Academy. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!), graduating summa cum laude with a major in Human Health Sciences.
Dr. Wood then attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree, graduating with honors. While there, she received the American Association of Orthodontists Award and was inducted into both the Delphi and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Societies.
After dental school, Dr. Wood completed orthodontic residency at the University of Iowa, where she was chief resident. She earned an Orthodontics Specialization Certificate and Masters of Science in Orthodontics degree.
