Peanut Completed Invisalign® Treatment 9 Months Early

The length of time needed for Invisalign® depends on the complexity of your case and how often you wear your aligners. Many times we get patients that ask us if they can finish their Invisalign® treatment early. The simple answer is yes, wearing them 22+ hours a day often enables patients the ability to switch weekly instead of the more traditional two week interval. Also, being treated by an experienced Invisalign® provider (like us) can ensure the treatment plan is designed efficiently to reduce length of treatment. One of our patients recently completed his Invisalign® treatment 9 months earlier than we had estimated.

Peanut is an excellent example of how following the doctor’s instructions, caring for your aligners and being disciplined can get amazing results and shorten the treatment time. Peanut completed his Invisalign® treatment 9 months early when we had given him an estimated time of 24 months to fix his open bite and flaring. Not only did Peanut wear his aligners as instructed, but he also cared for his aligners, keeping them clean and in good condition. Keeping your aligners in good condition by brushing out food particles or plaque is extremely important to the success of finishing treatment early.

Thanks for being such a great patient Peanut!
